Find bike storage at a station

You can store your bike for free at all of our bus and train stations and tram stops. There are different facilities at different stations, so check before you travel.

You’ll need a bike lock to store your bike safely. The best way to do this is with a ‘gold standard’ D-lock. This is the most secure bike lock you can get.

Cycle Hubs - free, secure storage for bikes

Our Cycle Hubs provide:

  • fully-covered storage to protect your bike
  • 24-hour smartcard access
  • CCTV
  • emergency help points

You can find our Cycle Hubs at:

  • Rowley Regis
  • Longbridge
  • New Street Station, Birmingham
  • Selly Oak
  • Stourbridge Junction

You’ll need to apply to use a Cycle Hub. There’s no deposit.

There are also cycle hubs at Coventry and Birmingham International rail station. Contact Avanti West Coast or head to the ticket office at the station to find out more.

Bike lockers and stands

There are standard, safe and secure bike stands at most rail and bus stations and tram stops. You can use these for free.

We currently don't have bike stands at: Aston, Bloxwich, Bloxwich North, Bordesley, Duddeston, Earlswood, Five Ways, Hamstead, Lye, Spring Road, Stechford, Tyseley, Witton and Wythall rail station.

There are bike lockers at many of our bus and rail stations. You can get lifetime access for a £20 returnable deposit.
